Reno-Fernley Raceway

Sept 25 - Fernley, NV
Join the FAASST Performance Driving School at Reno-Fernley Raceway in 2008.
Reno-Fernley Raceway came into existence in 1998, as part of a 3000 acre master plan project. The developer, Rich Cable, layed out the motorsports park, beginning with the development of a clay oval.
With the interest in road racing, plans were pushed forward for a paved road course in 2001. With the opening in 2003 the road course saw an influx of car clubs, and sports car enthusiasts. Immediately the course was being talked about as a true drivers course, requiring attention and skill. By mid 2004, the course was extended to 2.3 Miles.By mid 2005, another 2+ miles had been added, making it one of the longest road courses in the United States.
Keeping with the 'build it they will come' theory", the track naturally tradmarked the slogan "Racings Field of Dreams". Many drivers now claim that Reno-Fernley Raceway is the fastest track in the west. "Racings Field of Dreams" has taken form and has become one of the largest, and fastest growing motor sports facility in the country.
