Join FAASST Performance Driving School at the Milwaukee Mile.

The Milwaukee Mile continues to be one of America’s premier, tradition-laden auto racing venues. Motorized racing events date back to 1903, a full eight years before the first Indianapolis 500, making The Mile the oldest, continually operating motor speedway in the world.

The venerable grand dame of racing has undergone many improvements in just the last few years. Competitor areas and paddock space has been recently enhanced at the state-of-the-art facility. A new pit wall, a new scoring pylon, a repaving and retrofit of the infield road course, and the construction of a permanent infield care center building were completed in recent years. The latest improvements are the installation of a $1 million SAFER Barrier System and road course barriers that match industry standards, providing the safest facility possible for all competitors.

A  Fall, 2006 surface coating of the Infield Road Course has further solidified the opportunity for car clubs, driving schools, vehicle roll-out sessions and motorsports enthusiasts to experience competition at The Milwaukee Mile.

  • The 1.8 mile road course at The Milwaukee Mile was newly paved during the 2005 season, with a final polymer-mixed topcoat of rosphault laid down in 2007. Possessing a tricky combination of high speed straightaways, and a decreasing radius hairpin, the track incorporates virtually the whole mile oval and infield section.

The 36-foot wide infield road course offers a variety of car clubs and enthusiasts a dramatic and challenging course.  Numerous Club events and outings are just some of the events run on the road course. - Directions

Racing on the track with confidence is an awesome adrenalin rush like no other, and FAASST students get much more:

The FAASST driving school is unique and well planned. The balance of classroom and seat time help you drop lap times quickly.

The instructors are knowledgeable and bring you from looking at the basics to busting it down the track in a short time frame.

I thought enough of the course to repeat at another track and felt I learned as much the second trip as the first.

Thanks,

I would like to take the time to thank the FAASST Driving School for helping me. I came to the class with only oval asphalt racing experience and had never turned a lap on a road course.

I decided to try my hand with the SM class and thought a driving school would be the best place to start. I am very pleased with my choice in the FAASST Driving School, and with your teaching.

I started the day with lap times around 1:08, and by the end of the day I had shaved five seconds off my starting time. I raced in my first two regional events the next two days and with your continued tutoring I was able to start the Sunday event in the number three qualifying position and I had the second fastest lap time of the race (1:01.71)!

Please feel free to tell anyone thinking of using the FAASST Driving School for their road racing skills that I will gladly let them know that their money will be well spent. As for me, I am now with your help Driving FAASST!

Thanks again.
See ya in Pueblo.
