Judy Faass - Colorado FAASST Instructor - Judy Faass

- Graduate - Jim Russell Racing School
- SCCA Formula Ford - Held National License
- Mini Stock Class - Oval racing, 3/8 mile asphalt

Judy was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and entered the world of 'speed and danger' at the age of 2. Competition horses and anything with wheels quickly became items of interest. Once she obtained the driver's license at 16, she upgraded the horse power and never looked back.

During her college years, Judy graduated from a Jim Russell Racing School at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Then, it was on to SCCA Club Racing in open wheel Formula Fords. While racing with the SCCA, Judy quickly progressed to a National competition license and was on her way to racing at many of the famous southeastern race tracks such as Road Atlanta, Roebling Road, and others.

During her racing career, Judy assisted with building her own motors and setting up her own racing suspension and gearing; a DNF was extremely rare. While she has decided to not race anymore, she is known to sneak a track day in once in awhile. The latest addition to the garage includes a 2007 MX-5 Miata and a YZF-R6 sportbike.

Judy never lost her love for performance cars, the SCCA, and racing. As the owner and chief instructor of FAASST, she now travels to various tracks across the country, building the business, and working with other instructors while building a repertoire of driving and teaching experiences.
